Go Min-hyuk had been writing web novels as a side hustle. With his fourth novel, An Office Worker from the Apocalypse, he finally struck gold, earning a staggering 100 million won in royalties every month. Despite his success as an author, he still works in the operations team at GoPlay, South Korea's leading OTT streaming company. Initially, he'd planned to quit his job as soon as his monthly royalties reached 100 million won.
