Treasure Hunting Mysteries

This world resembles a classic wuxia realm—where pristine mountains, untainted rivers, and flourishing Fengshui gives birth to Heavenly Treasures beyond mortal imagination. Such treasures are not freely claimed. They lie hidden deep within the land, guarded by spirits, deities, and ancient taboos. To disturb them recklessly is to invite calamity, ruin, and death. Yet within the Daoist tradition’s Outer Eight Trades, there exists a shadowed profession few dare to acknowledge. A group that walks the razor’s edge between reverence and sacrilege, wielding forbidden techniques to unearth these Heavenly Treasures. Among the common people, they are whispered as Treasure Hunters. This story follows Zhang Yang, a mysterious and unconventional Treasure Hunter, as he ventures into the desolate forests of Northeast China. Beyond the reach of civilization, within the untamed wilderness of the Greater Khingan Mountains, lie forgotten rituals, eerie folk legends, and secrets buried alongside the land itself. As ancient powers stir and taboos are broken, Zhang Yang must navigate a world where treasure and disaster are inseparable—and where every excavation may awaken something that should have remained buried forever
