Demonification: Origin of the Returner

Eight years ago, an unknown catastrophe known as the Demon World Transformation descended upon the world. It was a calamity of pure despair, sealing off fragments of reality and repainting them into living nightmares. If you failed to survive, only a brutal death awaited you. In this twisted new world lived Yugo Fushimi, a young man who kept his life as small as possible, moving only between his home and his workplace. Timid. Kind. Deeply sensitive to the pain of others. Yet because he was always exhausted and chronically late, his coworkers mocked him relentlessly, calling him a slow-witted pushover and a gloomy shut-in. Then, one day, Yugo was dragged to a company drinking party against his will And there, he witnessed the horror of the Demon World Transformation with his own eyes. The city swallowed whole. People screaming. His coworkers cut down one after another. The space itself had become a Demon World, crawling with grotesque monsters. Escape was impossible. Survival felt hopeless. But then, There was one man. As if awakening an old, long-buried memory, he tightened his grip on his weapon.
