The Genius Assassin’s Second Life at The Academy

Van, the most feared assassin alive, was the scourge of every mage. Serving his closest friend, the prince, he cut down countless sorcerers in the war for the throne. Though hailed as “the strongest,” Van possessed no magic of his own. Armed only with his unrivaled knowledge of magic and a unique combat style that needed none, he ended the bloody conflict, all to crown his friend as king and protect his people, the world’s only magicless race, despised and oppressed. But his reward was the cruelest betrayal. His family slaughtered, Van himself executed at his best friend’s command. When he next opens his eyes, it is ten years in the past. Given a second chance, Van swears never to repeat the same fate. His new path: to climb to the top of the magic academy, without wielding a single shred of magic. Thus begins the tale of an assassin reborn, a man with no magic who dares to challenge a world ruled by it.
