Noble young ladies are a breed often said to be either rude beyond saving, or to have nothing but flowers blooming inside their heads. Even in an age when such talk ran rampant, there was someone who taught them. A commoner named Derrick, who awakened his talent for magic and made a name for himself as a mercenary, is one day invited to serve as a magic instructor for noble young ladies. With his remarkable ability to turn ill-mannered ladies into proper people, the star instructor Derrick rises to prominence— drawing an outpouring of invitations from prestigious noble families. “There are no bad noble ladies in this world.” At least, not in front of Derrick.
