A virus of unknown origin swept across the world, turning many people into cannibalistic monsters. Soon the world became a place where the screams of the dying were swallowed by the cries of these monsters. Born with a lack of presence and unnoticed by everyone around him, A boy named Kim Jong-do lived a bleak life. Even the monsters paid no attention to him, which allowed him to survive the end of the world. And for some reason, he found out that he could communicate with certain monsters. Through these conversations with monsters, he was able to ease his loneliness, even if only a little. Then, by chance, he crossed paths with a former high school classmate, a girl named Jo Myeong. Unlike the indifference he had grown accustomed to, she was one of the few people who showed genuine interest in him. And so, Kim Jong-do’s “non existence” began to waver.
