The story follows Xue Tianyi, once the supreme warrior of the Celestial Realm. Framed by the Celestial Emperor because his achievements overshadowed his lord, he is stripped of his immortal status, banished to the mortal realm, and branded with an Immortal-Suppressing Nail that renders him unable to cultivate for all eternity. However, before his sentence was carried out, he bribed an immortal official to preserve a sliver of his spiritual awareness. Reincarnated into the modern metropolis, he now lives as an ordinary student by day-but transforms into a master thief by night.
