Klaren, a princess of barbarian and mixed heritage. Physically frail and unable to walk since childhood, she was shunned even by her servants. During a war with the savage nation of Kairum, she was abandoned by her own family. Driven by vengeance, she handed over the entire royal family to Kairum, earning her a noble title in recognition of her deed. When she was granted permission by the king to raise her head, the one standing before her was Dean — once a slave.
